Who we are

Turfy ("Turfy", "we", "us") is a sports venue discovery and booking-assistance platform focused on padel and cricket in Pakistan. The product is developed and maintained by The Web Xperts (hello@thewebxperts.co).

What data we collect

• Browsing: technical data typical of websites (IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, and approximate region) to keep Turfy secure and to understand usage.
• Venue listings: information venue owners submit in admin (business name, location, contact numbers, WhatsApp number, photos, court details, and opening hours) to display public venue pages.
• Bookings: when a player uses Turfy to choose a slot, a message may be prepared for WhatsApp. Payment and identity verification happen between you and the venue outside Turfy unless we introduce separate payment features later (this policy would be updated).
• Reviews: if you submit a review, we store the content and rating you provide together with the venue it relates to.
• Accounts: venue owners who sign in provide account identifiers and contact details required for authentication and support.

How we use data

We use information to:

• Show accurate venue pages, availability-style flows, and search results.
• Operate WhatsApp handoff messages and help venues manage bookings in admin.
• Prevent abuse, debug issues, and improve the product.
• Comply with law and respond to valid legal requests.

Legal bases (where applicable)

Depending on context we rely on contract (providing the service you asked for), legitimate interests (security and product improvement, balanced against your rights), and consent where required (for example marketing cookies if we add them).

Sharing

We use infrastructure and service providers (for example hosting and database vendors) to run Turfy. They process data only on our instructions. Venue contact details and WhatsApp numbers are shown to players on public pages and in booking flows as part of the service. We do not sell your personal data.

Retention

We keep data for as long as needed to run Turfy, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Venue and booking-related records may be retained for accounting and operational reasons in line with our agreements with venue partners.

Security

We use industry-standard measures appropriate to the nature of the service. No online service is perfectly secure; please use strong passwords for venue accounts and report suspicious activity.

Your choices

Venue owners may update or request deletion of listing data subject to contractual and legal requirements. Players may contact us or the venue regarding reviews or personal data linked to a booking thread. Contact: hello@thewebxperts.co.

Children

Turfy is not directed at children under 13. If you believe we have collected data from a child, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page and, where appropriate, in-product notices.
